My Approach: What to Expect

You may be wondering what to expect from a session, or what to prepare to successfully participate in a distance reiki or mindfulness session. The short answer is: it's completely up to you!

Prepare a place in your home that is as quiet and private as you'd like. Feel free to set up in your bedroom, living room, home office, outdoors - wherever you feel comfortable and private enough for you to ask questions before or after your session.

Other things that might be helpful to have nearby:

  • Headphones

  • A glass of water

  • Pillows, blankets, or anything to get cozy

At the start of our session, we will take some time to review what to expect and to chat. Reiki and mindfulness sessions will both start with a breathing exercise and meditation, and then reiki sessions will go into a period of quiet relaxation while you receive reiki. We will save some time at the end for any lingering questions you may have, and that's it!

After your session, just remember to continue to take some time for yourself and focus on whatever your body needs that day. You will also receive a check in from me, as well as an optional survey to fill out based on your experience.
